Key Responsibilities
- Follow company standards and project plans in coordination with the lead painter and project manager
- Keep jobsites organized and clean throughout each project
- Learn & follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for our process on each project type
- Protect homes and items using paper, plastic, tape, etc.
- Perform surface prep and advanced prep (wall patching, etc.) as needed
- Prime and paint surfaces using brush, roller, and spray applications
- Respect clients’ homes and businesses, communicating politely and professionally
- Learn and understand the coatings and equipment we use
- Arrive on time, work efficiently, and learn from mistakes
- Collaborate with a team of 1–3 painters to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Adapt to and improve company processes, always seeking ways to enhance efficiency and quality
- Maintain attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
- Be open to new ideas and constructive feedback
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of professional painting experience (DIY does not count as professional experience)
- Proof of legal work status in the United States
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and grow—experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to commute to ALL areas of our service area if a project requires it (Montgomery, Bucks and some surrounding areas)
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Manual dexterity and balance for working on scaffolding and ladders
- Experience with airless sprayers and masking is a plus
